Dr. Andrew Cash is Medical Industry Advisor and Investing Principal of Global Community Capital. He built several  surgical practices from the ground up without prior business education or training. His quest for medical knowledge began at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill.  His diverse medical school experience included training at Duke University, within statewide UNC Healthcare system, and in Australia. After becoming a medical doctor, he dedicated five years training specifically in Orthopedic Surgery Residency in Atlanta.  His clinical rotations included Emory University, Grady Hospital, Atlanta Medical Center, and working under team doctors like those caring for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Thrashers. Dr. Cash was most interested in Spine Surgery  because of the state-of-the-art procedures that restored patient’s health, work abilities, and enjoyment and quality of life. Dr. Watkins, a world renown pioneer in spine surgery, trained Dr. Cash at the Los Angeles Spine Surgery Institute.

Twenty years ago, Dr. Cash brought his surgical skills and knowledge to Nevada and established the Desert Institute of Spine Surgery. After teaching himself the business side of medicine, he founded multiple surgical clinics and ambulatory centers. Dr. Cash enjoys serving the Las Vegas community.

During the Covid pandemic and quarantine, Dr. Cash continued to care for patients as an essential worker taking no time off. He dedicated his nights and weekends to study Law. He graduated Magna Cum Laude at the William S. Boyd School of Law. He passed the Nevada Bar Exam on his first attempt, and holds multiple Bar licenses.

Dr. Cash credits his late grandfather, Miller Cash, who raised him for instilling his dedication to help people, his personal and professional drive, and his eternal quest for acquiring knowledge.
