Harmen is and has been responsible for a number of innovative concepts in the industry spanning technology development, manufacturing, and distribution. His experience with global gaming activities spans more than 75 countries, with a strong focus on emerging markets.
Throughout his career, Harmen has been instrumental in over 25 companies within the technology, distribution, and operations sectors. His collaborations with major industry leaders such as IGT, Novomatic, Playboy Casino and numerous others have solidified his reputation as an influential player in the gaming world. His efforts have notably enhanced industry practices, assisting governments in boosting tax revenues from gaming operations and developing effective regulatory frameworks.
In 2007, Harmen founded the Gaming Incubator, investing in over 20 technology-focused companies and showcasing his dedication to industry advancement. He also invested in Ink Innovation, an aviation technology company and he is currently Executive Chairman of NYCE International, a global enterprise that represents industry-leading companies, connects them with operators worldwide, and establishes innovative ventures.
As a former Founding Chairman of the European Gaming Organization, Harmen has delivered over 100 presentations/moderations at international gaming conferences, reflecting his knowledge and leadership.
