Matthew Tabbiner is an Advisor to Global Trust Group and serves as Senior Director of Strategy and Expansion at Surkus, where he leads the company’s international expansion, new market launches, fundraising, and corporate development efforts. Prior to Surkus, he was a founding team member and Vice President at Introsight Advisors, a global strategic marketing firm, where he was responsible for advancing the firm’s business development, investor relations, and distribution teams. Matthew is also a licensed and registered securities representative having passed the Series 7 and Series 63 exams.
Outside of his position at Surkus, he serves as an Advisor to the Milken Institute in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), where he assisted with the launch of the organization’s MENA operations. Matthew is also an Advisory Board Member of Shorooq Investments and Introsight Advisors. In addition to his professional roles, he is currently a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Shapers and is a Founding Curator of the MENA chapter of The Milken Institute’s Young Leaders’ Circle (YLC). Passionate about non-profit and charitable work, he has also held positions with organizations such as Artists for Peace & Justice, The Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, and the Toronto International Film Festival.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from the University of Toronto where he was a visiting student at Worcester College, University of Oxford. He currently resides in the United Arab Emirates, but has spent time professionally in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and London.
